Anthony Brunt & Co started in business in 1984.

The policy of the firm is to try to cut through as much of the red tape as we can throughout the leasehold process and to use plain language so clients can understand the options and make an informed decision with our guidance.

Clients are recommended to us by previous clients, solicitors, mortgage brokers and estate agents.

For many years Tony Brunt was a regular guest on the "Ed Doolan Show" on radio BBC WM dealing with questions on leaseholds live on air and by invitation has given talks on leaseholds to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and also the  Lease Advisory Service annual conference in London as well as addressing corporate financial advisers and estate agents.

More recently we have been involved in the consultation process with the Law Commission concerning recommendations to Government to alter existing leasehold laws and methods of valuation calculations.

Having written to our MP who then kindly contacted the Housing Minister we still do not know when the main body of proposed changes to the law on leaseholds are likely to be introduced (which is a tad frustrating)!

It may be in the third session of this Parliament.
